Holy Saturday Celebration
The blessing of Easter Baskets at Rosary Hill Home.
Our residents, employees, friends and their families, gathered together to celebrate the blessing of Easter baskets. Not only adults but also children had so much joy, which they passed, on all of us.
According to the polish tradition, baskets usually contain a sampling of Easter foods, such as: Eggs, colored or plain, Bread, Meat and sausage, Horseradish, Vinegar, Salt, Pepper, Easter cakes, Easter Lamb, usually made of butter.
At the end of the event, families visited our chapel to give Jesus homage by a moment of adoration of the cross.
May all events bless the Lord. Alleluia.
At Rosary Hill we celebrated the Epiphany on January 6th by inviting the Three Kings for a visit. Having already given their gifts to our New born Baby Jesus, they blessed us with music and laughter. They even spent time with those who were unable to come to the celebration by making visits to individual rooms. God bless them.

Sister Natalie says: “At this point I have to express that we would not have this wonderful opportunity without the enormous generosity and dedication of those of you who gave much of their time, energy, skills, and financial support to organize and run this annual event. For many, many years an untiring group of our picnic organizers worked with unquestionable enthusiasm and energy for the best possible outcome of this yearly event. They deserve to be recognized and praised. Let’s, therefore, give them a truly thunderous applause”. To read the rest of this speech from Sr. Natalie, click here.

I hope this gathering at the Eucharistic table and at the picnic tables will remain in your memory as one of the most joyous experiences and worthy of repeating again. May God bless you and His Mother Mary protect and guide you. Thank you for being their heart-warming manifestation.
Refreshments, music, games, raffle prizes and time together…
As I have already said, this annual get-together on our grounds is designed as our way of saying “Thank You” to all of you for everything you do for us.
“… I rejoice and share my joy with all of you. In the same way you also should rejoice and share your joy with me.” Phil 2,17-18
