Junior High and High School campers united in Lake Placid, Florida from July 28 through August 2 to go deeper into relationship with Jesus Christ. A camp built upon discipleship and the New Evangelization, the youth (Friars and Sisters included!) played hard all day in the Florida heat, getting to know each other.  They then prayed hard all evening which included Mass, keynote and testimony talks and a long period of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.  It was beautiful to watch their hearts open to faith and receiving the love of God, found in the Heart of Jesus in our Eucharistic Lord.  The daily thunderstorms in Florida kept the youth inside  before Our Lord in Adoration longer than planned, but how it bore good fruit! Strong catechesis, good food, fun games, praise and worship (My Lighthouse!), talent show and amazing young adult leaders all contributed to this holy and joyful week!
