The children from our daycare in Calgary, Canada, honored and celebrated the birth of Christ this Christmas with joyful and innocent renditions of Christmas hymns! The children represent the countries of Canada, Poland, China, Japan, India, Nepal, and Nigeria. Through this diversity, we witness the gratuitous and splendid effects of the Gospel--that Jesus Christ is Lord of all the earth! And it all began with a little Baby in a manger.
The children are barely mastering the English language, yet they sing and recite the truth of Christmas with gusto and praise! By their innocence, may we learn how to be child-like again, welcoming the little infant Jesus into our hearts, not only during the Christmas season, but all throughout the year. Without further ado, enjoy a short clip of their version of "Away in a Manger".
The Sisters also organized a Nativity play in the parish church where the children gave a very moving presentation of the birth of Christ. For that, we commend them!
